In this role, you'll own the end-to-end design process from research to implementation, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed user expectations. You'll mentor junior designers and champion design best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead user research, persona development, and journey mapping to inform design strategy
- Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs using Figma and Adobe XD
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design systems
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation and style guides
- Mentor junior designers through portfolio reviews and design critiques
- Analyze user behavior data to identify optimization opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a portfolio demonstrating complex digital products
- Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), and responsive design principles
- Experience conducting user research, including usability testing and A/B testing
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into compelling user experiences
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design rationale to stakeholders
- Knowledge of front-end development capabilities (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
