Responsibilities
- Design Strategy: Lead the end-to-end design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
- System Architecture: Design and maintain a scalable Design System to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into intuitive, user-centric designs.
- Usability Testing: Conduct and analyze user testing sessions to validate hypotheses and drive iterative improvements.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Accessibility: Ensure all designs adhere to WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards to create inclusive experiences.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably within the SaaS or FinTech industry.
- Tool Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD with a strong portfolio showcasing complex design systems.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/React) and how design translates to code.
- Research Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct user interviews, persona creation, and journey mapping.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
