Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design processes from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and design systems maintenance
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and optimize user journeys
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions
- Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, style guides, and component libraries
- Present design rationale to stakeholders and advocate for user-centered design principles
- Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of continuous design excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing complex digital products
- Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Principle or ProtoPie
- Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design principles
- Proficiency in user research methodologies, information architecture, and interaction design
- Experience working in agile environments with Jira, Confluence, and version control systems
- Demonstrable ability to translate business requirements into compelling user experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
