Responsibilities
- Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma, ensuring a seamless user flow across web and mobile platforms.
- User Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to validate design decisions and uncover user needs.
- Design Systems: Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency for the engineering team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product owners and developers to translate business requirements into technical design specifications.
- Visual Design: Apply a deep understanding of typography, color theory, and layout to create visually stunning interfaces.
- Mentorship: Guide junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a collaborative design culture.
Qualifications
- Portfolio: A strong, professional portfolio showcasing UI and UX case studies demonstrating your design process and problem-solving skills.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably within the tech or SaaS industry.
- Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and prototyping tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Accessibility: Solid understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and inclusive design principles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale to stakeholders.
