Responsibilities
- Lead Design Strategy: Own the end-to-end design process for key product features, from concept to final delivery.
- User-Centric Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to validate design decisions and uncover new opportunities.
- Visual Design: Create high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that are accessible, responsive, and aesthetically stunning.
- Design Systems: Develop and maintain a scalable design system (components, documentation, guidelines) to ensure consistency across all products.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into elegant design solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a SaaS or Fintech environment.
- Portfolio: A compelling, case-study-driven portfolio showcasing your process, from research to final pixel.
- Tools: Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
- Principles: Deep understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI), information architecture, and user-centered design principles.
- Prototyping: Strong skills in prototyping tools (e.g., Principle, ProtoPie) with a focus on micro-interactions and motion design.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas to non-design audiences.
