Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design processes for fintech applications, from research and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups and prototyping
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems, components, and documentation for consistency across products
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and user-centric
- Create responsive, accessible interfaces that meet WCAG 2.1 standards and adapt to diverse user needs
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and articulate rationale behind design choices
- Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of continuous learning within the design team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing complex B2B applications
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Principle or ProtoPie
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences
- Experience with design systems, component libraries, and design tokens
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals for technical collaboration
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders
