Responsibilities
- Analyze transportation data and KPIs to identify trends and areas for operational improvement.
- Develop and implement route optimization strategies to minimize transit times and fuel consumption.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight carriers.
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly transportation reports for executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the operations team to resolve shipment delays and logistical bottlenecks.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new logistics software or carrier contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in transportation planning, logistics, or supply chain analysis.
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as Manhattan Associates or Oracle Transportation.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL for data extraction.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
