- Develop and implement sophisticated tax planning strategies for multi-state corporations
- Lead IRS audits and represent clients before tax authorities
- Manage M&A tax due diligence and integration planning
- Mentor junior tax professionals and drive team excellence
- Advise on international tax compliance and cross-border transactions
- Utilize advanced tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH) for compliance automation
- Stay ahead of evolving tax legislation (Tax CARS, SECURE Act 2.0)
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years of progressive tax experience
- Masters in Taxation or LLM preferred
- Deep expertise in state and federal tax codes
- Proven track record in tax controversy resolution
- Advanced proficiency in tax technology platforms
- Strong analytical and client advisory skills
- Experience managing tax teams of 5+ professionals
- JD or advanced tax degree highly desirable
