Responsibilities
- Prepare and file accurate corporate and personal tax returns for UK and international entities.
- Manage the annual compliance calendar and ensure timely submission of all tax documents to HMRC.
- Conduct tax research to interpret changes in legislation and assess their impact on the business.
- Collaborate with external auditors and HMRC representatives during inquiries.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liability while remaining fully compliant.
- Maintain detailed tax records and internal documentation systems.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate tax environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK tax law, including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, and VAT.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with tax accounting software (e.g., Wolters Kluwer, Vertex).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
