Responsibilities
- Analyze and Design: Conduct thorough requirements gathering and analyze business processes to design scalable system architectures and technical solutions.
- System Optimization: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of enterprise systems, ensuring high availability and performance optimization.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all system designs and implementations adhere to strict government regulations, including FedRAMP, FISMA, and GDPR compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary technical liaison between cross-functional teams, government agencies, and external vendors.
- Modernization: Lead initiatives to migrate legacy systems to cloud-based platforms, improving agility and reducing operational costs.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management within the public or private sector.
- Certifications: Active Security+ or CISSP certification is strongly preferred; PMP or Agile certifications are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or .NET; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret government security clearance.
