Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and user needs to design robust system solutions that align with federal compliance standards.
- System Design & Development: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise-level software applications using modern methodologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between technical developers, government officials, and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Testing & QA: Oversee quality assurance processes, including system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure 100% uptime and data integrity.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Crisis Management: Troubleshoot complex system failures and implement disaster recovery protocols to minimize service disruption.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems analysis, architecture, or software engineering within the public sector or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Certifications: Must hold active certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, or CISSP; FedRAMP certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of federal government acquisition regulations, data privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA), and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear, actionable insights for non-technical leadership.
