Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable, reliable, and performant backend services using modern technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define feature specifications and system architecture.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, performing thorough code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring system stability and uptime.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
- Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance our platform capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
- Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members.
