Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement highly available, distributed systems capable of handling massive data throughput and low-latency inference requirements.
- Optimize ML Pipelines: Collaborate with data scientists to optimize machine learning models for edge deployment and reduce computational overhead.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and improve our Kubernetes clusters and AWS infrastructure to ensure 99.99% uptime and security compliance.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high technical standards across the engineering team.
- Performance Tuning: Proactively identify bottlenecks in database queries and network traffic, implementing solutions that scale horizontally.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
- Languages: Proficiency in Python and Go (Golang), with experience in JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend integration.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- System Design: Strong grasp of system design patterns, microservices architecture, and database management (PostgreSQL, Redis).
