Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Optimize database queries and system architecture to ensure sub-millisecond response times.
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the delivery process.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and uptime.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Go with deep knowledge of async programming models.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) or Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
