Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing strategies including functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing and continuous quality monitoring
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and implement preventative measures
- Maintain and enhance test documentation, metrics dashboards, and quality reports
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion quality assurance best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with 2+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing
- Proficiency in SQL, Linux, and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology training
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker)
