What You'll Do:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take ownership of key product features, ensuring high availability and performance. You will work in a collaborative environment where your code has a direct impact on millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-scale distributed systems using Python, Go, and JavaScript.
- Lead architectural discussions and code reviews to ensure best practices and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize database queries and application performance to reduce latency and improve user experience.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a scalable environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js, with experience in React or Vue.js.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven track record of working with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
