Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and establish best practices for CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize system performance for high-traffic applications (>1M daily users)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architectural sessions
- Implement security protocols and compliance standards for cloud deployments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Python, Go, Rust)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Strong background in testing frameworks (pytest, Jest) and TDD methodologies
- Demonstrable experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
