Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Go and Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for 99.99% uptime
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps automation
- Mentor 3+ engineers through code reviews and architectural sessions
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical publications
- Champion agile methodologies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in Go, Python, and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, EKS)
- Strong background in microservices architecture
- Experience with event-driven patterns and message queues
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Published contributions to open-source projects preferred
