Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for system reliability and security
- Optimize application performance and scalability for 10M+ user base
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps automation
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Research and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., machine learning, blockchain)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Proven track record of leading technical projects from conception to deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
