Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architectures on AWS/GCP using Go and Python
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Mentor 3+ engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize system performance, achieving 99.99% uptime for critical services
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications using Agile methodologies
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent novel technical solutions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building distributed systems with Go/Python
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures
- Proven track record of leading projects with 10M+ daily active users
- Strong grasp of SRE principles and observability (Prometheus/Grafana)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Published contributions to major open-source projects
