Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Optimize system performance to handle 10M+ daily API requests
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Terraform
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Champion best practices in testing, documentation, and code quality
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at tech conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development in distributed systems
- Expertise in Go, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Deep understanding of AWS/GCP infrastructure and serverless architectures
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Strong background in database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching strategies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with focus on scalability and reliability
- Contributions to GitHub/GitLab with strong code review history
