As a key member of our engineering team, you will influence our product roadmap and play a crucial role in building robust, high-availability distributed systems that power our global user base.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-scale distributed systems using Go and Python.
- Lead technical architecture discussions and advocate for best practices in code quality and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and design teams to iterate on complex features.
- Perform comprehensive code reviews to maintain high engineering standards and mentor junior developers.
- Optimize system performance, latency, and throughput in our production Kubernetes clusters.
- Write clean, maintainable, and highly-tested code to ensure long-term platform stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Proven expertise in building and scaling microservices in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep understanding of database design, caching strategies, and API security.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical debt to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with a track record of taking ownership of complex projects from inception to deployment.
