Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go, Python, and AWS Lambda
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Design RESTful APIs with gRPC and GraphQL for enterprise clients
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) at petabyte scale
- Champion DevOps best practices and infrastructure-as-code
- Drive incident response and system reliability improvements
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building distributed systems
- Expertise in at least two backend languages (Go/Python preferred)
- Strong AWS/Azure/GCP certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Deep understanding of SRE principles and observability tools
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
