Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and Python for distributed systems
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime and auto-scaling
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical design sessions
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Translate product requirements into scalable technical specifications
- Champion DevOps best practices and incident response protocols
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical blog publications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-grade software development
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, and containerization technologies
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, databases, and caching strategies
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code
- Proven track record of mentoring and engineering leadership
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications preferred
