Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and architectural discussions for payment processing APIs
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Jenkins
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Contribute to open-source projects and industry standards
- Automate testing infrastructure with Selenium and Prometheus
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Contributions to GitHub with demonstrable projects
