Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services using Go and Python
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize system architecture for cloud deployment on AWS/GCP
- Lead end-to-end feature development from conception to production
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Champion best practices in testing, monitoring, and observability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Proven track record of mentoring technical teams
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Deep understanding of system design and scalability principles
- Contributions to open-source projects a plus
