Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-availability distributed systems using Go, Python, and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Architect RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB
- Optimize system performance through database indexing and caching strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
- Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and implement preventive measures
- Drive technical documentation and API specification standards
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in backend development with strong CS fundamentals
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Proven track record building scalable microservices at scale
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Pytest, Jest) and TDD methodologies
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and message queues
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
