Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-throughput microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead design sessions for distributed systems handling 99.99% SLA requirements
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize database queries and caching strategies for millisecond response times
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Jenkins
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and security audits
- Drive adoption of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Java
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in event-driven systems and message queues
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Experience with distributed tracing and performance optimization
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
