Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes, serving 99.99% SLA
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization with Terraform and Jenkins, reducing deployment time by 40%
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical design reviews
- Contribute to open-source projects and present findings at quarterly tech conferences
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and implement security best practices (OWASP Top 10)
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in distributed systems with 3+ years in cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, and one modern framework (React/Node.js)
- Deep understanding of gRPC, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Proven track record of building production-grade systems handling 10K+ RPS
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong background in database optimization (PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
