Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable distributed systems using Go and Python
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 24/7 cloud infrastructure
- Mentor 3+ engineers through code reviews and architecture planning
- Drive technical strategy for new product features and system migrations
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices across the development lifecycle
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical blog posts
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building production-grade distributed systems
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers and leading technical projects
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Deep understanding of database technologies (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) and caching strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
