Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and architectural decisions for cloud-native applications
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime across AWS infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and tech talks
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Champion DevOps best practices and automation initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in distributed systems and API design
- Proven track record of shipping production systems with high scalability
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles
