Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Lead code reviews and technical documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architectural decision-making
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies for high-traffic applications
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct A/B testing and data analysis to drive product improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and gRPC protocols
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and serverless computing
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives in agile environments
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
