Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization with Terraform and Jenkins
- Conduct code reviews and establish engineering best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Research and implement emerging technologies (AI/ML integration)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in Go, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong background in container orchestration and infrastructure-as-code
- Proven track record of building high-throughput APIs
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Contributions to open-source projects (GitHub portfolio required)
