Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable microservices using Java and Go.
- Lead architectural reviews and ensure high code quality through rigorous peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to define project scope and technical requirements.
- Optimize system performance and reliability for a platform serving millions of requests.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and inclusion.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 99.99% system availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a high-growth environment.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Proven track record of building and deploying RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical roadmaps.
