Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead feature development in our React/TypeScript frontend and Python/AWS backend systems
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical design sessions
- Optimize system performance using distributed caching and database indexing strategies
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) for automated deployments
- Conduct security audits and implement best practices for data protection
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade backend systems
- Expertise in Go, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Node.js)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong background in RESTful API design and GraphQL implementation
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code
- Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, OAuth2, encryption)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design expertise
