The Role:
You will be responsible for architecting and implementing robust backend systems and high-traffic APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions, ensuring code quality, performance, and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using modern languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature specifications and technical roadmaps.
- Mentor junior developers, conducting code reviews, and establishing best practices for engineering standards.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring low latency and high availability under heavy load.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Participate in architectural discussions to drive technical decisions and system scalability.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in at least two core programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and data structures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced team.
