Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices architecture using Go and Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime SLA
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using GitLab and Terraform
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Develop performance monitoring systems with Prometheus/Grafana
- Contribute to open-source projects used by Fortune 500 companies
- Collaborate with Product team on technical roadmap and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in distributed systems and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Java
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless technologies
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Contributions to open-source projects highly valued
