Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive family assessments and develop intervention plans addressing trauma, domestic violence, and substance abuse
- Lead multidisciplinary case management with schools, healthcare providers, and law enforcement agencies
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning for high-risk children and adolescents
- Facilitate family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities (TF-CBT, CBT)
- Advocate for clients within child welfare systems and legal proceedings
- Train community stakeholders on child protection protocols and trauma-informed care
- Maintain detailed case documentation compliant with state and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from CSWE-accredited program
- Washington State Licensure ( LICSW or LSWAIC)
- Minimum 5 years child welfare experience with complex trauma cases
- Certification in TF-CBT or similar evidence-based intervention
- Expertise in cultural competency with diverse populations (refugee, LGBTQ+, BIPOC)
- Advanced knowledge of Washington State child welfare laws and policies
- Proficient in case management software (e.g., Cerner, Epic)
