Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans for clients facing complex social challenges
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and risk evaluations
- Facilitate crisis intervention and trauma-informed care protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and legal systems to create coordinated support networks
- Supervise and mentor junior social workers through clinical supervision sessions
- Advocate for policy changes at local and state levels to address systemic barriers
- Lead community outreach initiatives and resource development projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- LCSW or LMSW licensure in New York State
- Minimum 5 years of direct practice in child welfare, mental health, or homelessness services
- Expertise in trauma-informed care and evidence-based intervention models
- Proven ability to manage complex caseloads and navigate multi-system partnerships
- Strong cultural competency with diverse populations including LGBTQ+ and immigrant communities
- Experience in program development and outcome measurement
