Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop evidence-based intervention plans
- Provide crisis counseling and trauma-informed support for individuals and families
- Coordinate care with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Advocate for clients through navigating complex social systems and benefits
- Lead case management for vulnerable populations including youth and seniors
- Facilitate therapeutic groups focusing on life skills and emotional resilience
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from accredited institution
- LMSW or LCSW licensure in New York State
- Minimum 3 years direct service experience in social services
- Expertise in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care models
- Strong knowledge of NYC social service systems and resources
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to manage complex caseloads and prioritize competing demands
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
