Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and zero-trust architectures
- Lead incident response operations, coordinating forensic investigations and remediation procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop security automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness programs
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering/architecture
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Strong programming skills (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Thorough understanding of threat intelligence frameworks
- Proven ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
