Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response activities including threat hunting, forensics, and remediation
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security automation frameworks using Python/Ansible
- Mentor junior security engineers and foster security-first culture
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ in security engineering roles
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security fundamentals
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or OSCP required; GSEC preferred
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with SIEM tools
- Deep understanding of threat landscapes and attack vectors
- Experience in compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF)
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
