Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security solutions including cloud-native architectures, SIEM deployments, and zero-trust frameworks
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and breach remediation
- Develop security automation using Python/Go and orchestrate tools like Ansible/Terraform
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices across DevOps pipelines
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2 frameworks through continuous monitoring
- Present security posture reports to executive stakeholders and CISOs
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification with active participation in security communities
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII)
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code
- Demonstrated success in reducing MTTR by 40%+ through proactive security measures
- Strong background in regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks
