Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architectures across cloud/on-prem environments
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of critical systems
- Develop security automation tools using Python and Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in architecture/engineering roles
- Expert knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and zero-trust models
- Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent (e.g., CCSP, CISM)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation
- Deep understanding of threat hunting methodologies
- Excellent communication skills for executive stakeholder reporting
