Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security controls across cloud, network, and endpoint environments
- Lead incident response operations and forensic investigations for complex security events
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST)
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in leadership roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for security automation
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
