Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced threat detection and prevention systems within our cloud and on-premise environments.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and remediate potential weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, including root cause analysis and forensic investigations.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor security alerts from SIEM tools and correlate data to identify emerging threats and anomalous behavior.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, local regulations).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a Senior or Lead role.
- Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Extensive knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) and SOAR platforms.
- Proven track record in managing security audits and compliance frameworks.
