Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures across cloud and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate breach remediation efforts
- Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop security automation tools and threat detection systems
- Mentor junior security engineers and establish security best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous research and threat intelligence
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent security certifications
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms and threat detection tools
- Strong programming skills in Python or Go for security automation
- Experience with container security and Kubernetes environments
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical risks to stakeholders
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field preferred
