Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR) across hybrid cloud environments
- Lead incident response operations and forensic investigations
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python and Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Create security documentation and conduct employee awareness training
- Stay current with emerging threats and threat intelligence
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in senior roles
- Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, or GIAC equivalent
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat hunting
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
