Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud/on-premises environments
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for high-severity breaches
- Develop and maintain SIEM/SOAR solutions for threat detection and automation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Drive security awareness programs and technical training for engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering-focused roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent industry-recognized credentials
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Hands-on experience with SIEM (Splunk/QRadar), EDR (CrowdStrike), and IDS/IPS
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (Ansible)
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cryptography, and attack vectors
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical security solutions
