Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures (cloud/on-prem)
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations using SIEM/SOAR tools
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical infrastructure
- Develop security automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous research
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering/architecture roles
- Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, or CCSP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike)
- Strong experience with IAM, encryption, and zero-trust architectures
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing (Burp Suite, Metasploit)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
